A lyrical mid-20th-century botanical study of white irises, signed “Lalia Dickson” to the lower margin. Delicate washes with fine line work capture the petals’ ruffled edges and yellow throats, set against clean ground for a crisp, gallery-wall look. Unframed and ready to mount to taste. Light handling creases and a little edge wear as shown, nothing that detracts on display. Size: 38 x 57 cm (approximately 15" x 22.5").

About the artist: Lalia Caroline Dickson was a Scottish artist and designer who trained at Edinburgh College of Art in the early 1930s. She exhibited with the Society of Scottish Women Artists and worked across illustration and decorative arts, including glass/stained-glass design. Her work appears at auction and in dealer catalogues, with recorded sales of painted and illustrative pieces.
